In the early hours of May 25, around 1 am, the Russian armed forces launched four missile strikes targeting Kharkiv city and the Kharkiv district, according to reports.
Kharkiv Governor Oleh Syniehubov stated that the Russian forces used S-300 ballistic missiles.
In Kharkiv’s Slobidskyi district, one missile hit a lyceum building, while another struck an industrial area.
According to Syniehubov, “Fifteen private vehicles were damaged along with the facade of a nine-story residential building.” No casualties were reported in this district.
Two additional missiles landed in open areas in the Kharkiv district, with no injuries reported. Prosecutors and police investigators are on the scene “to document war crimes,” the governor added.
Kharkiv endures daily attacks and shelling from Russian forces since the offensive on Ukraine’s second-largest city began. Over the past day, the Russian military launched 30 combat engagements in the Kharkiv and Kupiansk directions.
Furthermore, Russian attacks on the city and district occurred seven times, resulting in injuries to two people.
